Smart TVs are getting pretty common these days due to the availability of high-speed internet access and on-demand videos. For non-smart TV users, there are streaming devices like the Google Chromecast, Apple TV and more that offer video-on demand access from various services like NetFlix, Eros Now and more.
For India, Amazon today announced the Fire TV stick streaming media device that plugs into the HDTV and lets you access thousands of movies, TV shows, apps and games. The hardware specification of the device stands as quad-core processor and fast Wi-Fi connectivity option. Besides this, the Fire TV also supports voice commands in Hindi and English.
There are more intuitive features that Amazon offers on the Fire TV stick like the Data Monitoring, Parental Control, Voice search and much more.
Along with the Fire TV stick, Amazon also announced the release of three new titles on Prime Video, exclusively for Prime members and available on Fire TV Stick – Baahubali: The Lost Legends – based on one of 2016’s highest grossing movies, Oscar winner Suicide Squad, and a stand-up comedy special by Kenny Sebastian.
The all-new Fire TV Stick is available from www.amazon.in/firetvstick and select retailers across India for Rs. 3,999 (including tax). As an introductory offer, customers who purchase a Fire TV Stick by May 31, 2017 and subscribe to an annual Prime membership will receive a Rs. 499 credit back to their Amazon Pay balance.
Besides this, as a limited time offer, customers in India will receive up to 100 GB of free data on Airtel Broadband and 4G home Wi-Fi devices, valid for three months from the time of activation; up to 240 GB of free data from YOU Broadband; six months of unlimited ad-free music streaming from Gaana; a three month free premium video membership from Eros Now; and one month of ad-free streaming from Voot and Voot Kids.
