OPPO majorly focuses on the camera aspect of its smartphones. The newly launched, the F3 Plus is the latest entrant to the Selfie Expert family of smartphones. The highlight of the phone is the front dual selfie-camera (16-megapixel and 8-megapixel with 120 degree wide-angle). At the rear is the 16-megapixel shooter with a customised IMX398 sensor that is co-developed with SONY.
The F3 Plus also features Beautify 4.0 application that is now optimized to capture Selfie photos with bright, clear skin, vivid eyes and striking features. It also features various filters to enhance the picture. Besides this, there is Selfie Panorama, Screen Flash and Palm shutter that activates the selfie camera with timer by waving at the same. The rear camera supports HD video recording.
In terms of the hardware configuration, the F3 Plus is powered by Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro (Octa-core 1.95GHz) processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with support of adding microSD card up to 256GB. The F3 Plus has a 6-inch 2.5D Gorilla Glass screen with HD display and supports dual-SIM and microSD card simultaneously. The battery is rated at 4000mAh and supports VOOC flash charging that delivers two hours of talk time in just 5 minutes. The F3 Plus uses front-facing fingerprint recognition, which is able to recognize a fingerprint and unlock the phone in only 0.2 seconds.
The F3 Plus runs on ColorOS 3.0 with Android Marshmallow and comes in Gold and Black colours. The F3 Plus will retail in India for Rs. 30,990.
