Lenovo had announced the Z2 Plus smartphone in September last year. However, with the competition heating up and to take on the sub-15k market, Lenovo has reduced the price of the Z2 Plus by Rs. 3,000. The 3GB/32GB storage phone will now retail for Rs. 14,999. The other variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB is now available for Rs. 17,499.

To re-visit the specifications, the phone sports a 5-inch screen with HD resolution, powered by Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB and 32GB storage. The phone only features a single home button in the front dubbed as the supercharged Home button, U Touch by Lenovo. The rear camera is 13-megapixel with 4K video support and the front camera is 8-megapixel.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus comes with dedicated application to track all your fitness needs. U health app keeps track of your step, distance and calories with the help of dedicated Pedometer, Gyroscope, Accelerometer and sensor processing unit of Snapdragon 820.
