Intex announced two new phones, the Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II. As the name suggests, the Aqua 5.5 VR features a 5.5-inch screen. The phone is powered by Quad-core Mediatek processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. The storage can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone supports Virtual Reality and 3D content. This is a 4G VoLTE phone running Android Marshmallow. In terms of camera, the phone sports 5-megapixel front and rear camera with dual flash. The price of the phone is Rs.5099 and will be available on Flipkart from 19 October.
While the Craze II 4G VoLTE phone features a 5-inch display with Android Marshmallow, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. The device has a 5-megapixel selfie and rear camera with LED flash. It also runs on Quad-core processor. The Craze II will retail for Rs.5990 through retail stores. Both these phones include Intex’s in-house VAS named LFTY – Experience the New Left and MATRABHASHA. Left screen concept aims at providing a seamless cohesive mix of multi-category content and value adds to the end consumer on the left screen. A single screen for multiple utilities and content categories, that is, access to content and utilities in 1 swipe – Video, Music, News, Shopping, Weather, Twitter, Best Apps et al. With Matrabhasha feature, users will be able to tweet, text, post and WhatsApp in over 21 Indian regional languages.
Both the smart phones come pre-loaded with VAS benefits worth Rs 2,849. Some of the offers are free subscription to NexGTV for Live TV and Movies, Saavn for unlimited music for two months, Magzter and more.
