Along with the launch of their flagship phones – Mi5S and Mi5S Plus, Xiaomi also announced the Mi TV 3S. The Mi TV 3S is really slim at 9.9mm, the thickest part is only 37.6mm. This is a 4K Smart UHD TV that uses Samsung as well as LG display panels. The build quality of the TV seems premium as it is made of aluminium alloy frame with brushed aluminium back.
This 55- and 65-inch screen size TVs are powered by quad-core 1.8GHz processor, 2GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage. In terms of wireless connectivity, the TVs feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It supports 4K content at 60fps and HDR. Like most other manufacturers, Mi offers digital content library of around 27000 movies from Yicai, iqiyi, Youku and Tencent. A highlight of this is that it features artificial intelligence, called as Patch wall by Mi. The TV will learn your interest as per your content viewing and recommend movies for you. In terms of sound quality, the TV supports Dolby and DTS.
Launched in China, the TV is priced at 4999 yuan (Rs.50,000 approx).
