World’s first liquid cooled laptop ‘Republic of Gamers’ GX700 launched in India

Asus GX700

Asus launched the ‘Republic of Gamers’ (ROG) GX700 laptop in India that is also the world’s first liquid cooled laptop. The ROG GX700 comes with detachable exclusive Hydro Overclocking System cooling module and is powered by the 6th-generation Intel Mobile K-SKU (‘Skylake’) processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card. GX700 is also the world’s first 17-inch real 4K UHD gaming laptop to feature NVIDIA G-SYNC for smooth, stunning visuals. The laptop comes packed in specially made ROG themed briefcase.

The Hydro Overclocking System not just provides unmatched cooling capabilities, but opens up the possibility of superior overclocking. The CPU can be overclocked up to 48% and the 64GB DDR4 memory can be overclocked by up to 43%. The GX700 features a liquid-cooling dock based on a custom self-sealing valve design, a quiet and highly reliable pump, and dual 92mm radiators capable of dissipating over 500W of heat. The GX700 also packs traditional cooling and can be run without the liquid-cooling dock.

Along with the ROG GX700, Asus also launched the ROG Strix GL502, a compact 15.6-inch gaming laptop with 4K display. The ROG Strix GL502 runs on quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M GPU.

The ROG GX700 is priced at Rs. 4,12,990 and packed in a suitcase, the premium gaming laptop will be available for purchase through request only at http://asus.in/GX700 (Limited stock). While the ROG Strix GL502, a compact portable 15.6-inch gaming laptop starts at Rs. 1,27,990.
