OnePlus launched the OnePlus 2 with much fanfare last year. However, it’s a bit of antithesis for OnePlus 3. Earlier today, an ad revealing OnePlus 3 appeared in a daily newspaper and now Amazon has revealed the last bit of information. The phone goes on sale at 12.30AM midnight and Amazon will be the exclusive seller in India who will sell the device for Rs. 27,999.
So what do you get with the most expensive OnePlus phone till date? Let’s start with the design. The 7.3mm phone is carved out of a single slab of “space-grade aluminium alloy” and save it for the OnePlus logo at the back, the phone can be easily mistaken from HTC. Nevertheless, a certainly good-looking phone and moves away from its unique sandstone finish.
On the hardware side, we’ve got a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 820 running device with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.0 internal memory. The phone has a 5.5-inch OLED panel, which OnePlus has termed as Optic AMOLED. Additionally, the display supports Night Mode and dark theme.
Other features include a fingerprint sensor on the front, OxyGen OS, USB 2.0 Type-C connector, LTE support, 16 megapixel IMX 298 sensor at the back, 8 megapixel on the front, non-removable 3000mAh battery with Dash Charge that can be charged to up to 60 percent in just 30 mins.
