Lenovo-owned Motorola today announced their new G series devices in the Indian market. First up is the Moto G4, which is now the thinnest Moto G to come out of Motorola’s stable. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 1.5GHz octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 3000mAh battery. It comes with 13 megapixel camera at the back, a 5 megapixel on the front, dual-band 802.11b/g/n, GPS and Turbocharging support.
Moto G4 Plus ups the ante with the same processor but bumps up the RAM to 2GB or 3GB options and storage option of 16 or 32GB. While Moto G4 Plus features the same camera sensor on the front as Moto G4, the rear-facing is a 16 megapixel one with laser and PDAF auto-focus. Additionally, it comes with fingerprint sensor.
Both phones run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, VoLTE and Cat. 4 LTE support.
Moto G4 will be available in India from June but the 2GB variant of Moto G4 Plus will go on sale in a few hours on Amazon India for Rs. 13,499.
