Gionee unveils S6 with metal body

Gionee S6

Gionee this week announced their S6 smartphone under its stylish S-series. Priced at Rs. 19,999, the phone boasts a metal body with a symmetric design, which Gionee reckons makes the device look really premium.

The S6 runs Amigo 3.1 based on Android 5.1 and features a 1.3GHz 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and microSD card slot expandable up to 128GB. Additionally, the phone has a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 13 megapixel rear-facing PDAF camera, 5 megapixel front-facing camera, VoLTE support, Dual-SIM support, USB type-C connectivity and 3150mAh battery.

The phone will sell on Flipkart online and alongside retail outlets.
