WD Red Pro HDDs for NAS now available up to 6TB

If you’re looking to expand your NAS storage, WD just announced the storage expansion of its Red Pro HDDs. The drives that are purpose-built for NAS systems are now available in capacities of 5TB and 6TB.

Some of the features of these new HDDs include multi-axis shock sensor to detect subtle shock events and adjust read-write function, vibration protection to correct both linear and rotational vibration in real time and NASware 3.0 firmware to use in NAS devices.

Backed with a 5-year limited warranty, the WD Red Pro 5 TB drive (model #: WD5001FFWX) is priced at Rs. 21,250 and 6 TB drive (model #: WD6001FFWX) at Rs. 22,575.
