Sony has detailed its upcoming firmware for the PS4. Codenamed Kenshin, version 3.00 of the firmware will pack in lots of new features and enhanced online storage.
The online capacity of PS4 for PlayStation Plus members will get a boost from 1GB to 10GB allowing users to save more data on the cloud.
Users will also be able to stream their games to YouTube through YouTube Live and will make it easier for users to share videos on Twitter.
Furthermore, Sony will add stickers support; an events, favourite groups and communities page; a Now Playing / What’s New screen to keep you in the loop about friend’s activity; and the ability to request your friend’s gameplay session.
Although most of the features will make it to the final roll out, Sony says they’ll test these features among beta users and might or might not integrate in the final version.
