Samsung SE370 Monitor can charge smartphones wirelessly

Samsung has introduced a new monitor lineup that doubles up as a wireless charger for mobile devices. The SE370 monitor comes in sizes of 23.6-inches and 27-inches and thanks to the wireless charger integrated in the stand, all a user needs to place their device beneath the designated stand to charge wirelessly. The monitor supports Qi wireless charging standard developed by Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).

Display-wise, the SE370 series features PLS panel that offers a 178-degree viewing angle and a brightness of 300cd/m2, Full HD 1920×1080 resolution, AMD FreeSync technology for less screen tearing, Magic Upscale and more.

There’s no word on the price or availability of the monitor but it’s good to see a big brand getting serious about wireless charging.
