Being one of the companies that brings in a smartphone from concept-to-market quickly, it’s a bit surprising that Micromax’s first 4G phone was announced earlier today. The Canvas Knight 2 is Micromax’s flagship product and the first one from the Indian outfit to support 4G LTE connectivity, joining a sea of options.
The phone is priced at Rs. Rs. 16,299 and brings in a decent set of hardware like Dual 4G SIM support, Qualcomm Snapdragon 612 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, a 5-inch HD AMOLED Display, 13 megapixel main camera with 5 megapixel front-facing camera, microSD card slot and 2260mAh battery.
Moreover, the phone features a combination of glass & metal with Gorilla Glass 3 to give it a premium look and improved audio experience Cirus Logic Wolfson Stereo WM8998 chip.
