Lenovo’s partnership with Dolby is turning out to be a fruitful one as the Chinese company has launched yet another product featuring Dolby audio. This time, however, Lenovo and Dolby have gone a step ahead and integrated Dolby Atmos, which is Dolby’s proprietary audio experience, making Lenovo’s A7000 the world’s first phone to feature Dolby Atmos.
Powering the device is MediaTek’s 1.5GHz 64-bit octa-core processor, 2GB RAM and features a 5.5-inch display supporting 720p resolution.
Furthermore, the A7000 supports dual-SIM support and comes with 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, 5 megapixel front-facing camera, Vibe UI 2.0 based on Android Lollipop, LTE support, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 2900mAh battery with a talk time of up to 16 hours on 3G.
The phone will go on sale as Flipkart exclusive for Rs. 8,999 and interested users can register for the flash sale, which will happen on April 15.
