Google has updated its high-end Chromebook Pixel with a 2015 model with improved hardware and slightly lower price tag. The 2015 Chromebook Pixel comes with a 12.85-inch multi-touch display boasting a high resolution of 2560×1700 pixels and is powered either by Intel’s 2.2GHz Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM or with the LS variant, 2.4GHz Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM.
Chromebook Pixel features up to 12 hours of battery life, backlit keyboard, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, 720p HD display, integrated Intel HD 5500 graphics and two USB Type-C ports that also acts as a charger.
The Chromebook Pixel is now available in the United States for $999 whereas the LS variant sells for $1,299.
