In addition to updating existing Macbooks, Apple also revealed a completely new Macbook, touted to be the thinnest and lightest Mac ever. Apple claims every component has been “meticulously designed” that weighs two pounds and is 13.1mm thin, about 24 percent thinner than the 11-inch Macbook Air.
The new Macbook comes with a 12-inch Retina display, Force Touch trackpad, USB-C port and precision-milled unibody enclosure featuring integrated Wi-Fi antennas. Clad in colours like gold, silver and space gray—and an all-metal enclosure, the new Macbook features a fanless design, thanks to 1.1GHz dual-core Core M processor.
Additionally, the base model that starts from $1,299 comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and integrated Intel graphics.
The all-new Macbook will start shipping from April 10 and will sell in India for Rs. 99,900.
