Xiaomi may not sell the same number of units a Samsung or a Micromax sells in India but the company has grown at a steady pace for others to take notice. In a tweet, Xiaomi’s Hugo Barra has confirmed that the company has sold 1 million Mi devices since they started in July.
The number seems trivial considering the competition but Xiaomi’s marketing strategy with mandatory registration has become a headline grabber for the company.
Xiaomi hasn’t divulged sales break up of each devices but it’s obvious Redmi 1S to be leader in the group since it has been on sale for quite some time compared to Mi 3 and Redmi Note.
