Oppo today announced couple of new phones – the N3 with an automated revolving camera and R5 that takes the world’s slimmest smartphone badge. The N3 builds on the N1 and automates the 206-degree revolving camera with a motorised function. With just a swipe, the rear-facing camera can be turned into a front-facing one. On the hardware side, the Oppo N3 features Snapdragon 801 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch Full HD TFT display, 32GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 16 megapixel camera with 4K video support and 3000mAh battery with Rapid Charge support.
The N3 also features a Touch Access at the back that acts as a fingerprint sensor and runs ColorOS based on Android 4.4.
Oppo also announced the R5 that is just 4.85mm thick, earning the world’s slimmest smartphone tag. This device brings in a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display. Additionally, the phone has a 13 megapixel camera and a front-facing 5 megapixel camera. The only concern seems to be the battery, which is rated at just 2000mAh.
