Google revolutionized email with the Gmail service and the company is trying to attempt the same with its newly announced Inbox service. Unlike Gmail that was made to replace emails from other service providers, Inbox will co-exist with Gmail to make the inbox – as Google puts it – “work for you.” The basic premise of the service is to personalize emails and show all the important emails in a visually appealing manner.
Some of the features include Bundles – that helps to segregate promotional, travel or any other emails, get a gist of an email without opening it, set to-dos and even set reminders for the emails.
Inbox needs an invitation to work and if you’re interested, you can send an email to inbox@google.com to request an invitation.
