Apple releases iOS 8.1

As promised, Apple has now released the iOS 8.1 update for its iOS running devices. The biggest inclusion in the iOS 8.1 update for Americans is perhaps, the activation of Apple Pay support. Apple Pay currently works only with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in the United States. Additionally, there are bug fixes and improved features like the Camera Roll rolls back into the update, adds 2G network select option, improved Wi-Fi network connectivity and more.

Connect your device to iTunes or update it over the air by requesting the update from the settings menu on your device.
