Apple has refreshed its iMac computer and now boasts a high-resolution display panel. The new 27-inch iMac now comes with a Retina 5K display that offers the world’s highest resolution, packing in 14.7m pixels that make images and text look super sharp.
Apple says the new iMac display is manufactured using oxide TFT-based panel to deliver vivid display brightness from corner to corner. It also comes with a single supercharged Apple-designed timing controller (TCON) that drives all 14.7m pixels and features energy efficient LEDs that reduces display power consumption by 30 percent.
Under the hood, iMac with Retina 5K display is powered by a 3.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.9 GHz and even has the option to go for a 4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 4.4 GHz. The Apple AIO is equipped AMD Radeon R9 M290X graphics, 8GB of memory and a 1TB Fusion Drive.
The iMac with Retina 5K display is shipping now with the base version priced at Rs. 1,79,900.
