Lenovo intros A536 smartphone for Rs. 8,999

The entry-level smartphone market has never seen a fierce competition as it is today and joining the battle for attention is Lenovo’s A536 smartphone. Priced at Rs. 8,999, the phone is powered by a 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with 2 megapixel front-facing camera.

The Dual SIM phone runs Android 4.4 out of the box, supports HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 2000mAh battery and suite of DOIt apps.

Lenovo will sell the phone on its online retail store as well as Lenovo exclusive and regular telecom stores.
