WD TV Personal Edition media player announced for India

WD TV Personal Edition

WD has expanded its WD TV media player lineup with the new WD TV – Personal Edition. The WD TV – Personal Edition supports variety of popular file formats, including MKV, MP4, AVI, WMV, MOV and enables users to play media files from a connected USB drive or stream content from apps like YouTube, Facebook etc. or from any network attached storage. The new WD TV media player supports Wi-Fi, comes with a new user interface and allows to project content from MiraCast supported devices onto the TV and more.

The media player is expected to arrive in August carrying a price tag of Rs. 7,999.
