If you’re looking for a big-screen phone with minimum impact on your pocket, Micromax today announced the Canvas Doodle 3 in India. The phone boasts a 6-inch display but FWVGA resolution (480×854), which in our opinion is pretty low for a screen this big on the Canvas Doodle 3.

The device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6572 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and comes with a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, front-facing VGA camera, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, 4GB internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD card slot and 2500mAh battery.

The phone will also come with six months of Bigflix subscription and other pre-loaded software like M! Doodle, M!live, Opera, Kingsoft Office, Rope Cut etc.

The Canvas Doodle 3 will be available in India from April 25 for Rs. 8,500.
