LG introduces Smart Bulb that works with Android and iOS

Lighting solutions interacting with our smart devices is not something unheard of and LG has also delved in with their range of Smart Bulbs that interacts with devices powered by Android and iOS. LG claims these Bulbs save up to 80 percent in power consumption compared to normal incandescent bulbs and can last over 10 years with an everyday use of up to 5 hours.

These bulbs can connect with devices running Android 4.3 and iOS 6 and above over Bluetooth and enables users to use features like Security Mode that turns the lights on or off at a specified time, Play Mode that adjusts brightness according to the music played on the smartphone and notifies of an incoming call.

LG will sell the Smart Bulbs for 35,000 won with no information if they plan to sell it internationally.
