Sony unveils Gold Wireless Headset for PlayStation

Sony has announced a new Bluetooth enabled wireless headset touted to be created “for PlayStation gamers, by gamers.” The Gold Wireless Headset will be available later this month in the US for $99.99 and will bring support for 7.1 virtual surround sound, custom audio modes developed specifically for PlayStation games, hidden noise cancelling microphone, customisable faceplate and up to 8 hours of battery life.

Sony will also release a new firmware update for PS4 – v1.60 that will bring support for PULSE and PULSE Elite headsets.
