Microsoft’s hunt for its next CEO could stop at Satya Nadella, according to a report by Bloomberg. The report says Microsoft is almost certain to replace Steve Ballmer as the next CEO of the software behemoth.
Nadella, 46, currently heads Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group and has been in the company for over two decades, making him a good replacement choice.
Prior to Microsoft, Nadella worked at Sun Microsystems and has studied in Hyderabad, India and earned a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
