At an event in New Delhi, Gionee has officially launched its flagship phone Elife E6 in India. Gionee has been selling devices in India for quite some time but this is the first time, the Chinese company staged a big launch for its flagship phone. The phone is priced at Rs. 22,999 and might feel a bit expensive, considering the competition from other Indian brands but the device is loaded with meaty hardware.
The phone runs Android 4.2 and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Mediatek processor, 2GB RAM. It has a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) OGS+ panel, a 13MP camera with BSI sensor, 5MP front, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 2000mAh battery. Gionee has left out the microSD card slot but is compensating with a 32GB internal memory.
The phone is available across online retailers in black and white colour options.
