HTC hinted on a new Butterfly device and today they’ve announced the successor of its first full HD phone. The phone is known as Butterfly S and the hardware currently seems to even takeover HTC’s flagship One device. Clad in a similar plastic design, the HTC Butterfly S features HTC One’s highlights like the BlinkFeed, Zoe and the BoomSound.
And on the hardware side, the Butterfly S comes with a Snapdragon 600 1.9GHz quad-core processor, about 200MHz faster than what is on the HTC One, 2GB RAM, 5-inch full HD SLCD3 display, GPS, UltraPixel camera with BSI sensor, 16GB internal memory with microSD card slot and a huge 3200mAh battery.
The phone will be launched in HTC’s home country in July for about NT$22,900 (US$766) and will then roll out in other regions.
