LG to showcase flexible 5-inch OLED panel at SID 2013

Society for Information Display’s (SID) Display Week 2013 begins this week and LG’s display subsidiary will show off some interesting display technologies, including an unbreakable and flexible display. Its archrival, Samsung Display is the only one who has showcased a flexible display but it is the first time LG will show off a 5-inch plastic OLED panel for mobile devices.

Additionally, LG will also showcase the curved 55-inch OLED TV, 5-inch and 7-inch HD LCD panels based on Oxide TFT technology, 23.8-inch UHD panel, 14-inch Quadruple HD (2,560X1,440) panel for laptops and 7-inch Full HD panel for tablets that exceeds 300 pixels per inch (PPI).
