Apple’s iTunes App Store will be the first store for mobile devices that will reach 50 billion downloads. Just like every previous milestone, Apple has started displaying a ticker that will reach the iconic milestone in the next few days.
To celebrate this milestone Apple is giving away a 10,000 App Store gift card to one lucky downloader who’ll download the 50 billionth app. That’s not all. The next 50 users will also win a $500 each App Store gift card. All users will be entered into the competition irrespective of the free app or a paid app they download or can even enter the competition without downloading anything by filling this form.
