Google updates Play Store with simpler, cleaner user interface

What was just a leaked screen shot till yesterday is now a reality. Google has announced the Play Store redesign that will make content surfing and discovery easier. The Play Store 4.0 update will bring a simpler and a cleaner user interface with “bigger images that jump off the page.” Recommendations and content purchase has also been improved.

Google has started rolling out the redesigned Play Store to all Android devices (Android 2.2+) and should reach most users in the coming weeks.
