Google has officially started selling their first Nexus tablet on the Indian Play Store. Unlike the US or any other markets, the Indian store is selling the 16GB version only for Rs. 15,999 and will ship the tablet by April 5. This is a bit expensive when you compare it with US pricing but is good news as consumers can expect future Nexus devices to be available in India officially.
As for the specs, Nexus 7 runs the latest version of Android Jelly Bean OS and comes with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 7-inch 1280×800 display, 1.2MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and up to 8 hours of battery life.
