LG today announced their next flagship phone – Optimus G for the Indian market. It will be the same enhanced Optimus G that was announced for the European market few days back, which means consumers buying the device will find Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box along with other software enhancements like Dual Screen / Dual Play, QSlide, Quick Translator and SmartStay.
Apart from that, the phone features a Zerogap Touch equipped 4.7-inch HD IPS display, Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 13MP rear-facing camera along with 1.3MP front-facing camera, 32GB internal memory, NFC and 2100mAh battery.
Optimus G’ retail price is set at Rs. 34,500 but online retailers like Flipkart are pre-ordering the phone for Rs. 30,990.
