Asus announces stylish external DVD writer for India

Asus External DVD Writer

 

Asus just announced SDRW-08D3S-U, an external DVD writer for the Indian market. The slim DVD writer will feature a Zen-inspired design and is just 20mm thin and weighs 365 grams. In addition to a stylish design, the DVD writer comes with AVWHERE, which with a touch of a button, transforms the plain USB DVD writer into an AV player that can be connected to a TV.

Furthermore, it supports 8X DVD writing speed, disc encryption and drag-and-burn support.

Asus plans to start selling the drive in February for Rs. 2,500.
