Finland-based Jolla today showed off for the first time the user interface of its Sailfish OS. Jolla says the user interface has been designed keeping “consumer needs in mind” to provide ultimate multitasking. Users for instance, can end a call or pause a song directly from the home view without having to go into the respective app.
Furthermore, the UI also contains what Jolla calls a “Pulley Menu”, quick peeks at status information and personalization to suit user’s style and mood.
Jolla has also released the first SDK for developers to take a look at the platform and supports ST-Ericsson’s NovaThor chips.
