Asus Nexus 7 available in India for Rs. 19,981

Asus promised to launch the Nexus 7 in India and it seems they remained true to the word as Croma Retail has listed the tablet for purchase.

Although the availability of a Nexus device is good for Indian consumers, the price at which Asus is selling isn’t. The tablet is priced at Rs. 19,981 for the 16GB Wi-Fi-only version which in comparison, sells for $199 or Rs. 10,753 in US. Furthermore, there’s no info if Asus would be selling the 32GB variant or the 3G variant.

Anyways, Nexus 7 is packed with some powerful hardware like a 7-inch WXGA IPS panel display, Jelly Bean Android OS, Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 1.2MP front-facing camera and lots more.
