LG today expanded its L-Style series with the Optimus L9. The new phone sits above the existing L Series phones like Optimus L3, L5 and L7 and will bring some interesting features for a competitive price. The Optimus L9’s design will be based on the L-Style design philosophy and feature a huge 4.7-inch IPS panel display. Amongst other differentiations, the phone will sport a 2150mAh SiO+ battery and software improvements like QTranslator that enables users to scan and translate text in over 44 foreign languages, My Style keypad that adjusts key formation according to user using the keypad with left, right or both hands and QMemo to write handwritten notes.
As for hardware specs, the Android 4.0 running Optimus L9 is equipped with 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 4GB internal memory, 5MP and VGA cameras, DLNA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS.
LG will showcase the device at IFA 2012 this week.
