LG has been dropping small nuggets over the past one week about the upcoming flagship phone and now the Korean company has officially acknowledged it, calling it as Optimus G. This is the first LG device that integrates products from its various subsidiaries like a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display (1280×768) from LG Display which is improved further by LG Innotek with its G2 Touch Hybrid Display technology and a 2100mAh battery developed by LG Chem.
Rounding up the feature set is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) 1.5GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP main camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, Android 4.0, improved Optimus UI that comes with Dual Screen Dual Play, QMemo and more.
LG expects to sell the phone from next month in South Korea followed by other markets globally.
