Micromax has announced their first solar-powered phone for the Indian market. The X259 may not entice you on the specs front but the fact that it supports a clean power source to charge the phone and costs just Rs. 2,499, the phone could prove useful to users in region where electricity supply is marred by frequent power cuts.
As for the features, the phone comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, dual SIM support, 1000mAh battery, VGA camera, Bluetooth and GPRS support.
