The US International Trade Commission has dismissed the complaint put forth by HTC against Apple. The complaint alleged Apple to infringe patents held by S3 Graphics, which was usurped by HTC earlier this year.
“Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission has determined that no violation of section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 (19 U.S.C. § 1337) has been shown in the above-captioned investigation and that the investigation is terminated.”
HTC is understandably dejected and confirmed to AllThingsD that they’ll review the ruling and will “consider all options, including appeal.”
