Samsung has released some Galaxy S II sales numbers for South Korea and it does look impressive. At their home turf, Samsung has managed to sell over a million Galaxy S II units in about 30 days of the phone’s launch. Mind you, these numbers are based on supply, which means the figures include phones sold to retailers, carriers etc. but is remarkable nonetheless.
Galaxy S II reached the million milestone quicker than any other Samsung smartphone, including its original Galaxy S device which took around 70 days to reach the same.
In fact, Galaxy S II is one of the fastest selling smartphones for Samsung which has clocked 100,000 units in just 3 days, 200,000 in 8 days, 400,000 in 14 days and 500,000 in 18 days.
It is being sold on LG U+, SKT and KT.
