Samsung is looking to launch a new Galaxy S phone that will pip the original bestseller that put Samsung on the Android map. According to Samsung Russia’s blog, the Korean giant will launch Galaxy S Plus (I9001) by end of April having similar design and some new features from the original Galaxy S.
Galaxy S Plus is expected to sport a new metallic back cover instead of the plastic one and will come with Android 2.3 OS, a faster 1.4GHz CPU, 4-inch Super AMOLED display and a tad larger 1650mAh battery.
The phone is expected to retail for around 23,990 rubles (US$842).
