Nokia today unwrapped two inexpensive phones that will be targeted at different set of users. The C2-01 from the Cseries is a normal candybar phone that brings 3G support at an affordable price tag. It will go for 70 euros in 2011 and feature a Series 40 OS, 3.2MP camera, 2-inch display, FM Radio, Bluetooth and microSD card slot (expandable up to 16GB). Additionally, the phone comes pre-loaded with Nokia Messaging, Ovi Store and Ovi Life Tools service.
X2-01 on the other hand goes for a bold look and targets avid text messagers and social networkers. The phone is expected to go on sale in this quarter for a price of around 80 euros. X2-01 will bring a full QWERTY keyboard, Communities app for social networking, Ovi Music service, FM Radio, 2.4-inch display, VGA camera, Ovi Store and Ovi Life Tools support and memory card that can go up to 8GB.
