Sony has confirmed that they’re developing a new 3D TV that won’t require any special glasses. This confirmation comes after Toshiba’s announcement but Sony hasn’t revealed its probable release because they’re working to keep the cost down.
“Seeing 3-D without glasses is more convenient…we must take account of pricing before we can think about when to start offering them,” said Sony Senior Vice President Yoshihisa Ishida.
Sony along with Panasonic, Samsung and LG currently sell 3D TV but users need to wear clunky glasses to enjoy 3D content.
