Asus NX90 notebook

Asus’ NX90 monstrous notebook, which we first glimpsed at the CES this year has finally reached the Indian shores. Consumers seeking a desktop replacement with no limit on the budget can consider the 18.4-inch NX90.

NX90 boasts a unique design with a combination of powerful specs, making it a perfect home entertainment device. The NX90 comes in a polished aluminum enclosure and features dual multi-touch trackpads for two-handed usability.

On the specs front, the NX90 has a 18.4-inch LED backlit display Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz CPU (up to 2.8GHz with Turbo Boost), 8GB DDR3 RAM, Windows 7 OS, Nvidia GeForce GT335M 1GB GPU, 1TB HDD, 4X Blu-ray reader, 2MP webcam, Bang & Olufsen ICEPower audio and 6-cell battery.

It comes with a 1 year global warranty and carries a price tag of Rs. 1,31,999.

We also had a brief hands-on on the device and the first thing that comes to the mind is that it’s a big shiny slab of aluminum. It weighs a hefty a 4.4kg, which clearly indicates that this mean machine is not meant for portability. Another striking feature are its speakers that are placed besides the screen.

You can check our hands-on pictures in the gallery below and from this year’s CES here.
