Opera has released a new version of its desktop browser. The software now stands at v10.60 making the browser faster than ever before along with loads of other improved features. Opera has revamped the design a little bit and is 50 percent faster than the previous versions thanks to an optimized Javascript engine.

New features include the support for Google’s WebM video container, geolocation, Bing search, enhanced phishing and malware protection from AVG and most importantly Appcache. Appcache stores files locally and allows users to use in-browser apps like Google Docs to be used even if the internet is not connected. Features from previous versions like Opera Turbo, Unite, Speed dial, Opera Link are also present.
