WD SiliconEdge Blue SSDs now shipping in India

SiliconEdge Blue SSDs that started shipping last week in US market is now shipping in India. The 2.5-inch SiliconEdge Blue SSDs are developed for read-intensive applications.

The SiliconEdge Blue SSDs come in storage sizes of up to 256GB and supports 3Gbps SATA interface that helps to achieve a read speed of up to 250MB/sec and write speeds of up to 170MB/sec.

These SSDs are a result of more than 250,000 hours of testing and boast rugged traits to endure from sudden shocks and vibrations.

The 64GB WD SiliconEdge Blue SSD (model SSC-D0064SC-2100) is priced at Rs. 16,250, 128 GB (model SSC-D0128SC-2100) at Rs. 30,900 and 256 GB (SSC-D0256SC-2100) for Rs. 58,250.
