Sony PlayStation Move

Sony’s combination of motion-sensing wand and PS Eye camera has finally got a name. Called as PlayStation Move, the new controller for PS3 will be arriving in Fall of this year. This can be termed as a Wii remote wannabe but Sony claims its more accurate and records precise movement and angle with the help of the included three-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer and terrestrial magnetic field sensor. It works in conjunction with PS Eye camera that enables it to capture user’s voice and image that can be useful for augmented reality games.

Additionally, Sony also revealed a Move sub-controller that brings in an analog stick and direction buttons to enhance game play.

Sony says the PlayStation Move has got a positive response from game developers and has got support from 36 different game developers and publishers. Also, they’ll release more than 20 games this year that will exclusive work or support PS Move.

Price is unknown at the moment.
