Samsung Wave S8500 unveiled

Samsung Wave S8500

 

Samsung officially announced their first bada phone, Wave (S8500) at the recently concluded MWC. The Wave is a powerhouse possessing some meaty specs like 1GHz processor under the hood, Bluetooth 3.0, HSDPA and Wi-Fi 802.11n for speedy connectivity. Other features include 3.3-inch Super AMOLED screen supporting WVGA resolution and mDNIe (mobile Digital Natural Image engine), 5MP camera with HD video recording, FM Radio, music player with SoundAlive, DivX/XviD support, 3.5mm headphone jack, A-GPS and internal memory of 2 or 8GB with expandable up to 32GB with microSD card.

The phone is expected sometime in April for price around $500. Samsung Norway will bring the device in May for 4000 NOK (666 USD).
